Crytal-eyed catfish or Hemibagrus wyckii is one type of Catfish it can grow up to 70 centimeters. It is a river fish can found in Mekong and Chao Phraya river and in a river in Indonesia. This pictures were taken from Bangkok Aquarium in Kasetsart university Bangkok Thailand on 12 October 2018.

ปลากดดำ หรือ ปลากดหม้อ (อังกฤษ: Crystal eye catfish, Black diamond catfish) ปลาน้ำจืดไม่มีเกล็ดชนิดหนึ่ง มีชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์ว่า Hemibagrus wyckii
มีรูปร่างค่อนข้างสั้นป้อม หัวและลำตัวตอนหน้าแบนราบกว่าปลาชนิดอื่น ๆ ปากกว้าง ตาค่อนข้างเล็ก ส่วนหลังยกสูง ครีบหลังมีก้านแข็ง ครีบไขมันค่อนข้างยาว หนวดที่ริมฝีปากยาวถึงบริเวณหลัง ตัวมีสีเทาคล้ำหรือดำ ด้านท้องสีจาง ครีบสีคล้ำขอบบนและขอบล่างของครีบหางมีแถบสีขาวเห็นชัดเจน
มีขนาดประมาณ 30 เซนติเมตร ใหญ่สุด 70 เซนติเมตร พบในแม่น้ำสายใหญ่ทุกภาคของประเทศ และพบไปถึงบอร์เนียว เป็นปลากดที่มีราคาสูงชนิดหนึ่ง นิยมบริโภคด้วยการปรุงสดเหมือนปลากดคัง (H. wyckioides) และยังเลี้ยงเป็นปลาสวยงามได้อีกด้วย
ปลากดหม้อ ยังมีชื่อเรียกที่ต่างออกไปเช่น "ปลาสิงห์ดำ", "ปลากดหางดอก" ชื่อที่ใช้เรียกในวงการปลาสวยงามคือ "มรกตดำ" เป็นปลาที่มีนิสัยดุร้ายก้าวร้าวมาก ไม่สามารถเลี้ยงรวมกับปลาชนิดอื่นได้เลย

Hemibagrus wyckii is a species of catfish (order Siluriformes) of the family Bagridae. It is occasionally called the crystal-eyed catfish.
This species originates in Asia from Thailand to Indonesia. It is known from the Mekong and Chao Phraya drainages in central Indochina. It is also known from the Batang Hari and Musi river drainages in Sumatra, the Pahang river drainage in Peninsular Malaysia, the Citarum drainage in Java, and the Baram, Rejang, Kapuas, and Barito river drainages in Borneo....
