แมงมุมตัวขนาดประมาณ 8 มิลลิเมตร ลักษณะแปลกตา มีสีเหลืองสด สลับด้วยแดงเลือดนก มีหนามงอนโง้งคล้ายเขาสองข้าง ชักใยอยู่บนต้นกระท้อนในสวนที่ ต.เกาะสำโรง อ.เมือง จ.กาญจนบุรี พบเมื่อ 19 ธ.ค. 2564 เวลาประมาณ 11.30 น.
ลองค้นหาจากอินเทอร์เน็ตพบว่ามีลักษณะใกล้เคียงกับแมงมุมหลังหนาม แต่ยังไม่สามารถระบุชนิดได้ ข้อมูลจากอินเทอร์เน็ต
แมงมุมหลังหนามที่พบ มีลักษณะคล้าย 3 สปีชีส์ คือ Gasteracantha fornicate (พบใน Queensland Australia)
Gasteracantha sturi (พบใน ลาว อินโดนีเซีย) และ Gasteracantha doria (พบในสิงคโปร์ อินโดนีเซีย ไทย)
แมงมุมหลังหนาม อยู่ในวงศ์แมงมุมใยกลม และจัดอยู่ในสกุล Gasteracantha หรือเรียกกันทั่วไปว่า spiny-backed orb-weavers, spiny orb-weavers หรือ spiny spiders
ตัวเมียจะมีสีที่ชัดเจนกว่ามีหนามแข็งอยู่บนเปลือกแข็งบนลำตัวซึ่งมีลักษณะคล้ายกระดอง จากข้อมูลใน wiki มีข้อมูลแมงมุมที่ได้รับการบันทึกไว้ 69 สปีชีส์ แต่ละสปีชีส์ มีความแตกต่างกัน เช่น ลักษณะหนาม จำนวนหนาม สี เป็นต้น
A little spider with two dark red color horns was found on a Santol tree in my family's orchard in Samrong Mueang Kanchanaburi, Thailand on Saturday 19 Dec 2021 at about 11.30 am.
Searching throught the internet found that this is a spiny spider or Gasteracantha. However, I still can't identify the specicy since there are about 69 species of the spiny spider. Each species can identify by the amount of spiny or the color. I also found 3 species which amost same as my spiny spider. Gasteracantha fornicate (found in Queensland Australia) Gasteracantha sturi (foundin Lao, Indonesia) และ Gasteracantha doria (found in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand)
