ในภาพเป็นเพศเมียพบที่ เขตบางเขน กรุงเทพ เดือน ธันวาคม 2562 ลักษณะของนกเพศเมียคือตั้งแต่บริเวณอกจะเป็นสีเหลืองทั้งหมด แต่หากเป็นเพศผู้
จะมีสีสันที่โดดเด่นกว่า โดยมีจะขนด้าน[นลำตัวเป็นสีเขียวมะกอก ส่วนคาง ใต้คอ และอกตอนบน
มีสีดำม่วงและมีแถบสีน้ำเงินเหลือบเป็นขอบ อกตอนล่างและท้องเป็นสีเหลือง
นกกินปลีอกเหลืองมีลำตัวยากประมาณ 11 เซ็นติเมตร มีปากเรียวยาวและโค้งลง
อาหาร: น้ำหวานดอกไม้ และแมลงขนาดเล็ก
ลักษณะรัง ดูผ่านๆ เหมือนเป็นเศษซากใบไม้ที่ทับๆ กัน หากไม่สังเกตจะเข้าใจว่าเป็นรังนกเก่าๆ ที่ไม่ใช้งานแล้ว ปากรังอยู่ส่วนบนของรัง และหันหน้าเข้าผนัง
โดยนกตัวเมียจะหย่อน ตัวลงไปในรังที่เป็นทรงขวดและยื่นเฉพาะปากสีดำเรียวเล็กออกมานอกรัง
ขนาดรัง: สูงประมาณ 13 เซ็นติเมตร กว้างประมาณ 5 เซ็นติเมตร

A female bird has yellow color throughout its underpart. However, a male has an olive-green upperpart and has dark purple under the neck and upper path
of its breast.

How its nest looks like?
Its nest looks like dried grass and leaf. The entrance is on the top of the nest and turns to the wall. A female will put her body into the flask-shaped nest and let her bill out from the nest.
Size of its nest: High approximately 13 centimeters and Width about 5 centimeters
