เข้ามาในห้องครัวเช้าวันเสาร์กำลังจะทำอาหารเข้า เจอเจ้าตุ๊กแกตัวน้อยนอนนิ่งอยู่ที่พื้น แต่มีบางอย่างแปลกๆ คือมีเหมือนเศษอะไรบางๆ อยู่ตามขาและหาง ลองหยิบขึ้นมาดูใกล้ๆ ที่แท้กำลังลอกคราบอยู่ แต่ไม่รู้พลาดอย่างไร ถึงได้ออกมาอยู่ที่กลางพื้นกระเบื้องในห้องครัวได้ ปกติจะเจอตัวใหญ่ยักษ์ อยู่หลังตู้กับข้าว และจากข้อมูลที่ค้นหาได้จากในอินเทอร์เน็ตตุ๊กแกจะเริ่มลอกคราบจากบริเวณหัวก่อน แล้วจะกินคราบเข้าไป จึงทำให้ไม่ได้พบเห็นคราบของตุ๊กแก (อ้างอิง) นอกจากนี้ยังมีข้อมูลอื่นที่น่าสนใจเกี่ยวกับตุ๊กแก เช่น การร้อง ที่เราได้ยินอย่างคุ้นหู ว่า "ต๊อกแก" ก็เพื่อเป็นการดึงดูดเพศเมืยนั่นเอง (อ้างอิง)

Found this little tokay gecko on the kitchen floor on Saturday morning while I am about to prepare my breakfast. It looks strength so I pick it up to look closer and found that this little gecko is shedding.
The information from the internet said that a gecko while shedding will start from the head first then, it will eat all the shed that's why we normally have not seen the gecko shed. Moreover, I also found interesting information about tokay that when we hear the sound "Tok-Kay" that meant a male gecko is calling a female. Meanwhile, the tokay gecko has a disgusting voice and skin (for someone), it is very useful for my house since it helps to eat cockroaches and centipede.

The tokay gecko (Gekko gecko) is a crepuscular arboreal gecko in the genus Gekko,
the true geckos. It is native to Asia and some Pacific Islands.
This species occurs in northeast India, Bhutan, Nepal, and Bangladesh, throughout Southeast Asia,
including Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia, and to western New Guinea.

Tokay geckos are generally aggressive, territorial, and can inflict a strong bite. Females lay clutches of one or two hard-shelled eggs and guard them until they hatch. The tokay gecko feeds on insects, fruit, vegetation and small vertebrates. It is a strong climber with foot pads that can support the entire weight of the body on a vertical surface for a long period of time. Compared to other gecko species, the tokay gecko has a robust build, with a semi-prehensile tail, a large head and muscular jaws. Though common in the pet trade, the strong bite of the tokay gecko makes it ill-suited for inexperienced keepers
